Solid wood fire logs?
I have a Preway Built-In Fireplace that burns "solid wood only." In the fireplaces in my native country in Eastern Europe you could burn pretty much any kind of wood in them, but I am under the impression that you should only burn the prepackaged kind in this sort of cheap fireplace. Is that a correct assumption? And what exactly is "solid wood" when it comes to fire logs? Never heard of liquid wood, all been solid when I've burned them.
The local grocery store sells these prepackaged logs for 20 bucks per a pack of six. I was hoping to find out more about what kind of wood I can burn and then shop around, if possible.
