I'm sorry, I mean laptop cooler, as in a stand that has an active cooling component (in my case fans) to help leech heat away from the machine and make it run better.

Unfortunately, it doesn't do all that much, because my laptop's poor design is well beyond repair. There are definitely less expensive versions and, as I said, if active cooling isn't an issue, some large old books or cardboard boxes or just about anything else can serve the same purpose of getting the screen higher and easier to read.
