I'd say HJ's are like any other sex act, if the partner knows what s/he is doing it can be most pleasurable.
An ex-girlfriend of mine used to give me massages and about half the time when she'd finish with the massage she tell me to roll on my back and she'd "finish me off". She could give the best hand jobs in the world and I'd unload like mad (much better than what I could accomplish myself)! We used to joke that she must've been a guy in a previous life 'cause she knew just what to do. She also said she had fun doing it. I really miss those.
On the other hand (rimshot please), I had one from a woman who didn't have a clue what she was doing. It was terrible.
