Something similiar was happening to me for awhile. I'd spend a long time writing up a good thread and when I went to post I would lose my stuff. So to remedy the problem, I simply copy what I wrote...if I'm log out at post time, I log back in, and paste whatever it was I was posting, problem solved...thats how I deal with it.
