I'm quite aware of this fact. I know plenty of naturally thin people. But I have never known anyone to look THAT thin (as A does), unless they are anorexic or starving themselves on purpose (or just plain starving, because of poverty). That kind of thinness is simply not natural, and it's not healthy.
I would not say that B looks unhealthy--but she is still below average. Maybe that's a good thing. But yes, she does look healthier than A.

I'm also well-aware of this fact. However, there's a difference between carrying extra weight naturally, and being morbidly obese (which girl C is far, far from being)... which would be at the other unhealthy extreme from A. Being bony-thin or morbidly obese are both unhealthy figures to have. From the picture here, person A looks sick. B is okay. C is also just fine. I still see no double-standard here, and I'm done arguing about it.

That's fine. We all have our own standards for what is "attractive," which may or may not be different from what is "healthy."
