I was thinking about what types of venison I've tried over the years after checking out
Doos' thread on venison ideas
I've had:
Deer - good
Moose - better
Elk - best
Mountain Sheep - not bad
Mountain Goat - good but a bit tough
Bear - Can be strong, but makes good pepperoni
Cougar - Quite good in a mint sauce. (I don't hunt these

)
Lynx - very tender. I felt weird eating a cat. (I don't hunt these either

)
Rattlesnake - I tried this when I was down in the states a few years ago.
I would like to try alligator sometime, just to see what it tastes like.
What kind of wild or weird venison have you tried? Did you like it and would you try anything different?
