What an awkward, strange interview. I think the fact that Ledger passed right afterward makes it seem even stranger, but I think it'd come off as halting no matter what. Heath seemed a little unsettled and the interviewer didn't really seem to have a great idea of what he was trying to cover. I guess that makes it something more of a conversation, though.
I remember when his death was announced I was fairly critical and unsympathetic of the circumstances of Ledger's demise, but I think now it was probably just a combination of bad luck and a lack of understanding (either due to pure ignorance of the effects or to an overwhelming desire to tune out the world) about what could happen to him by simultaneously taking all those medications. Unfortunate, for sure.
