Of course, I don't go to movies that kids go to so I don't have to deal with them. Also, I try to sit in the front of the upper section so I don't have to see the people in front of me and I can put my feet on the bar. When I watch a movie I'm engrossed in it if it's worth watching so I block everything else out. If it sucks, I welcome the distractions.
Although, I have ruined a few movies for people so I'm waiting for my karma to come around. Alcohol and teenage behavior...fun times.

The kids aren't the problem in my case--it's college students and teenagers. The movies with kids are actually
better as far as rudeness goes than those that attract the college students and teenagers. I think that's why I prefer the independent theater--not many of them know about it.
