Who cares about the Serena and Venus William's of the world.... an English singles champion at Wimbledon!!!!
Obviously people need not to get carried away, great junior players arent always great professionals - but its a fantastic moment for English tennis and for Laura Robson tonight and thats all that matters.
And Safin turned down her invite to the champions ball...
