I watched the Parent Trap (old version, with Hayley Mills) so many times, that my parents made a new video-rental rule: we could only rent movies we hadn't seen before. I was convinced that I had a secret twin sister, and I wasn't allowed to go to camp because my parents were afraid I'd meet her.
I was also a big fan of the Journey of Natty Gann, Back to the Future, and Splash (none of those were particularly "kiddie," but I loved them all).
