Based on "vanilla wrapped in orchid," my first thought was Love in White by Creed, which got the following review earlier in the thread:

When I tell people to try Creed scents, it usually ends there, but I'll throw down another two for fun. China Rose by Floris is floral and rose-heavy, but has that creamy amber/vanilla base that will make me, a vanilla lover, lose my train of thought and focus on how good she smells. Because of my eclectic, eccentric tendencies, I'm also going to go out on a limb and tell you to try Paco Rabanne's Black XS for Her.
