I beg to differ and I am old school muscle car crowd ...hell, when I go to the local speed shop for their monthly meets, most cars there are muscle cars but the knowledgeable ones have respect for the Supra. Mine is hugely exciting and since I was 20yo in 1969, there are probably no muscle cars I haven't driven except a rare few. My '95 Toyota Supra now has over 600hp to the wheels; even factory stock except higher boost it had over 400whp; and when I go to track days it will outcorner and outbrake most cars there.
At the most recent Texas Mile competition that was a couple weeks ago, against all sorts of twin turbo Vipers and Vettes and Porsches, the #1 and #2 finishers were Toyota Supras, #1 hit 229+mph in the mile; last year's winner was also a Toyota Supra.
