I like to buy children's movies in local languages when we travel. It is a way I can sample the language in a simplistic form without extremely difficult and challenging subject matter. Most films today are produced with the idea they will be translated to local languages at the same time as US release. They can't be subtitled because most kids that age can't read, but they do understand their own language.

I have Rattatouille in Castillian/Catalan, Finding Nemo - Icelandic, The Incredibles - Urdu, Lilo & Stitch - Finnish, icelandic, Swedish, Madagascar - Finnish, Icelandic, Swedish
