My moment of glory happened playing dodgeball when I was 11! Everyone was taken out except me an the kid on the opposing team. We were dodging the ball for what seemed like a full five minutes until a member of my team finally managed to clobber the last kid! Everyone was so impressed by my dodging abilities that they actually
carried me off the field!
It might have been just a game played in the schoolyard during lunch, but I'll never forget being enthusiastically lifted up in the air. It was probably the happiest and most exciting day of my young life.
The next day, everyone hated me as usual.
