The real charm of Raiders was the physical stunts and special effects. If you watch closely (and I did) you can see the errors they made but the "magic" of film and continuity editing keeps most from noticing.
Today, they would "fix" these issues with CGI.
And I am not even talking about the absolute joy of the physical nature of the stunts. Hopefully, Spielberg can, as Martian suggests, keep the worst of Lucas at bay.
