I dare say most of the appeal of sex is that it is a rush in a wave-crashing-onto-beach fashion.
I'd venture to suggest they don't wanna feel like the immobile ground under an oil derrick... constantly getting pumped 24/7 with no end in sight. I'd imagine they want a nice steady growth in passion, a gooey explosion, and some cuddly-wuddle-boo time afterwards. They are fickle creatures (these female humans) but easy to adore.
