Frankly, I think I'd rather have the Camaro. Both cars are ugly, the Camaro is no slouch with an LS2 bolted to a T56 (and the RS/Z28 will likely run an LS7, when they introduce that) and for the price of one GT-R you'll almost be able to get two Camaros (pricing competitive with the Mustang, which looks to mean a base price no higher than $40 000).
Plus, the LS2 gets it's 400 horses naturally aspirated, which means you'll most likely be able to just put regular unleaded in the tank. A twin turbo V6 making over 400 is gonna need premium.
