To preface this, I got an e-mail from some co-workers:

Hi all! It's been discussed among the girls who have enjoyed the 'girls nights' so much, that we should have a monthly 'get together' including all staff. The idea of a "Book Club" was brought up, and I'm all for it, so I'm throwing it out there to the rest of you! Basically, the 2nd payday of each month we will have a location where we can all meet and relax. That's mostly the club part. The book part, is that we'll be discussing/enjoying various topics, relating to literature. For example, our first meeting will cover Tequila-Mockingbird.

Now, I'm not into 'Girls Night Out' or any of that shit, but I was curious about the book. So, I googled it expecting some 'Desperate Housewife' blech or something. What I found was this gem:
http://tequilamockingbird.blogspot.com/
I was hesitant at first while reading the front page, but I found it to be hilarious. Basically, a group of friends got together and wrote a story. One would start it then pass it to the next person who would continue and then pass it and so on. It's so random and overly vulgar and violent, at least more so than it needed to be, that it's funny.
BEST PART...the ladies weren't talking about this at all. In fact, one of them came to me today laughing about another woman trying to find the book that "doesn't exist". She was calling her an idiot because they're discussing To Kill a Mockingbird, but since it's over cocktails it Tequila Mockingbird.
Bummer, I thought they might actually be interesting to talk to. Although I'm considering going to discuss this blog and watch their reactions.
The rest of the site is fun to read. It reminds me of the Laurie Notaro series which I love.
