Do you love it or do you avoid it? Love it.
What are your reasons for doing so? Better selection, no crowds or salespeople to deal with, sometimes the brick and mortar store that has what I want isn't the type of place I like going in. Also I like getting packages.
What sites do you prefer and why? Newegg.com for selection.
Is there anything that convinced you to buy something when you normally wouldn't? (Evil question, I know.)
Are there any website features that you enjoy that help you shop? I like detailed specs, expert user reviews, and normal user reviews to an extent.
How do you research what you are going to buy? It depends. Sometimes I really don't, sometimes I rely on reviews. I've never made a huge purchase (over $300) online, but if I did I would see it in person before buying online.
What kind of products do you buy? Electronics? Media? Clothes? I actually do buy a lot of clothes, since I particularly loathe going into stores for that. As long as the store has good sizing information I have not had a problem with clothes fitting poorly. Also electronics.
What's the most "personal" (something that you're picky about and usually need to check out in person before you buy) item that you've purchased online? Probably my digital camera.
As far as what discourages me from buying from a website, things like cluttered design, questionable reputation, poor return and privacy policies scare me off.
