Sounds like they are trying to skull fuck you, but I owned a 1985 318i for about 2 years, and it was the worst decision I ever made, relating to cars
Every single issue I Had with it cost 4 times what a normal, non-German car would have cost to fix. I remember in particular the radiator cost $750 to fix, and my 1991 Cavalier's radiator cost $120 to fix........
If that quote is true, get rid of the turd. I just got tired of every. single. thing. with the car costing quadruple what it SHOULD cost. Rip off.
