First thought - this doesn't need the hide tag. It reads better that way, and since it's a joke...
Second thought - this guy's a moron. Cows and horses don't spend all day every day running, jumping and getting out of harm's way. Deer do. It's the difference between a couch potato and a Olympic runner. OF COURSE the deer is going to be tougher to rope because it doesn't have the body fat and slack muscles (mmm, steak) of a cow.
Third thought - something wrong with this guy's trigger finger?
