Might seem like a side-effect to you, but its the reason I play console FPS. I don't have to worry that it's that they have a better video card than me, that they have a better monitor than me, that they have a better mouse than me. We all have the same hardware. And most importantly, someone wanting to "hack" at the game would have to hack the entire system. It's not something a casual hacker does.

I'm a much better PC shooter, and CS/Battlefield were my favorite games for a long time. But the cheats and hardware advantages got old.

And if you crank the sensitivity up on a console, you can whip around just as fast.
