If you think you'll have lots of competition for these jobs, it'll strictly be a numbers game. Apply for as many as possible, and apply online when you can. These types of jobs won't even require a resume, but it won't hurt to type up any work or work-related experience you have. You can also attach it to the applications (some might be impressed!), plus you can carry it with you, containing all the data needed for filling those damned things out over and over. Try to set it up to reflect stability and a willingness to learn. The attitude and confidence, once you get an interview, will win you the job.
