[anchor]AUGI'S STUFF[/anchor]
  • READ ME
"Read me? Ha! I don't need to read nuttin! [anchorlink=RECENT UPDATES]Take me to that there list of kompueter programs.[/anchorlink]"
Please read the following stuff before you go clicking away at applications:
    • Some of these are repeats to this thread.
    • Read what you are installing! These programs may receive updates and install things that I wouldn't approve. And not that God-awful long user end license mork mork. Just look for things like Yahoo toolbar (useless) or Weather Channel bug. I don't trust either of those.
    • Make sure you look at the ALTERNATIVES if the program does not suit your needs or operating system.
    • The Rating System
      • 1 star (*) means it is handy at times or just pretty.
      • 5 Stars (*****) means I couldn't live without it or highly support it
      • ? (?) Means I have not tried it out myself but is recommended by the people that make/use other software I support.
    • Operating System Compatibility
      • (W) - Windows
      • (M) - Mac
      • (L) - various distros of Linux
      • (+) - anything else, like Solaris, FreeBSD, etc
    • If you see , that means: Don't be tempted by the dark-side.
  • WHERE IT COMES FROM
I would like to respect the awesome places where I find this great material (and borrow their logos/images, please don't sue me).
  • [anchor]RECENT UPDATES[/anchor]
    None
  • REQUESTS
You might be able to help me! Do you know of anything...
    • A program like MS Mathtype that can create neat (clean and legible) math graphics, the more math operations and symbols the better
    • A program that takes an HTML and directly makes it into a PDF, not prints it as it would through a printer
    • A computer calculator that can handle and simplify algebraic expressions, looking fot ti-89 like capabilities. Multiple graphical capabilities preferred.
    • A graphical data presenter- takes points and makes complex graphs with them... something hopefully easy to use/program
    • Good remote desktop software, better than VNC (not having luck with VNC, any of the flavors)
