I think Malone is still good enough to play, but if John Stockton has played his last game, it seems very appropriate that Malone would retire...if only for them to go into the Hall of Fame together.
I'm not saying that WILL happen, I'm just being nostalgic. The same way I was disappointed when Magic Johnson came out of retirement, spoiling my Larry Bird/Magic double dip at the Hall.
If Malone wants the championship, Dallas is a good fit, however if he wants the scoring title, he might have to wait with Dirk and Finley sharing the ball.
