Well it depends on which system I'm in, for linux you can't hardly go wrong with gedit (ok...someone one up me with a "V.....'cause I'm that l33t")....In windows you can't hardly beat dreamweaver, especially if you get into the uber-functionality...like having FTP built right in the app....yeah that's awesome, AND it'll save you time in the long run.

The only thing I really wish I had was a good Javascript "pre-compiler" or something to help with the javascript debug. I love the language, but god damn could you get any more obscure in errors?

Firefox has a pretty good "Javascript debug console" or whatever the actual name of it is.....but god forbid you try and debug javascript using IE......
