I sometimes special order
butterscotch liquer from Holland. It's great stuff and only 15% alcolhol. I've let some of my friends have a taste but they usually say it tastes like burnt almonds or caramel. Is it possible that it is made from that?
BTH. I don't like to be a kill-joy but ......... there is no evidence that the Vikings wore horns (or tusks) on their helmets. Actually, the general concensus is that they never did but that the theatre and eventually Hollywood thought it might be a nice touch - and so the myth was born.
