Having owned the Chrysler Laser (not to be confused with the Plymouth Laser), I can wholeheartedly say that they are indeed junk. The only good thing about the turbo models is that you can pull the engine and drop it into an Omni or Aries and have one helluva sleeper when you hit the track. I was unlucky enough to have the ones that came with a digital dashboard and it wouldn't shut up about the washer fluid being low. Talking cars were cool back in 1984, I guess.

Cameron originally envisioned the Terminator as a small, unremarkable man, giving it the ability to blend in more easily. As a result, his first choice for the part was Lance Henriksen. O. J. Simpson was on the shortlist but Cameron did not think that such a nice guy could be a ruthless killer.
