It took me a few days, but I actually like this car... thing a lot. It's a decent looking beach cruiser, which takes me back to my old high school dream of having something interesting to drive to the beach; surf boards on top, windows down, sea smell in the air, cheap Walgreen's sunglasses on, with a whole bunch of buddies. The thing is a 4x4, has a 4.0L V6, and an optional 6 speed manual. I can understand that a lot of people might look at it and wonder if it was modeled on a VW Thing, but this was once a dream.
Now if you want an ugly Toyota, it's gotta be the Corolla.
If I want to put aftermarket side skirts and bumper on my Corolla, let me make that mistake on my own. Don't put your own fake looking crap on the car before people can buy it. It looks like someone wanted the car to have a custom look, and that person was in heir mid 60s and had no idea what custom body effects should look like. Oy.
