Oh, certainly. I'm sorry if I was party to diverting the attention of your intent. I just didn't want it to get out of hand and having it become a big conspiracy theory. If you want to discuss the need for consumer advocacy at the checkout, then I'm all for it. But let's not assume that companies are doing this intentionally because I seriously think it isn't the case. If you want my opinion on the matter of checkout discrepancies, I think more needs to be done to force companies to prevent these errors from occurring in the first place. I'm sure there are many examples of other industries where there are legislated regulations that ensure accuracy of one thing or another to prevent problems for users or consumers. Would you propose something like this in retail? Why should it be any different when it comes to people's hard-earned money?
