I had a similar experience as Mister Coaster in middle school, but I didn't consider the kid a friend. As far as since then, can't say I've witnessed anything like that.
What boggles me, did anyone call the police? Even afterwards? Maybe I'm becoming too much of a small town yokal, but I would have gotten the license plate of the vehicle and called the police after he left. Given, nothing actually did happen, but anyone willing to pull a gun on a person and threaten them doesn't sound like the most law-abiding citizen in my book.
