FWIW, I'm pretty content with my Bally's membership. The facilities aren't new, but it's the closest gym to my house (well, it was at the time I joined) and I don't have any complaints. The wife and I pay $45/month, and we're a bit over a year into a 3 year contract. Short-term we're not going anywhere, so I'm fine with it. It makes me go to the gym and work out, cause otherwise I'm just burning money, and I hate that feeling.
