Pasadena is not outsourcing its local news. A bullshit publication that gets its "news" from press releases is outsourcing 2 writers. Note I said writers, and not reporters, because those idiots don't employ any reporters. Press releases are by nature biased and untrustworthy. Any "news" organization that writes stories based solely on them is not a news organization.
I don't really find myself upset by this - it would be sorta like NASA getting upset because a child decided to change the way he builds his model rocket. If these jokers who claim they're a news publication want to keep not being what they claim to be, well, not much we can do about it
