I am circumsized but did not have my son cut. I could not see any real reason to do it to him other than conformity.
Soap and water take care of the cleanliness issue.
I am an atheist so that takes care of the religion thing.
Safe sex takes care of the HIV thing.
If he wants to be cut, it can be his decision.
