We all fail sometimes in being rude or nice. No one is perfect. One good lesson I learned being online since 1990 is that when I am getting really mad at something someone posted, then it probably is good for me to ask more questions of them. If I end up still hating them for their illogical assumptions or evil ways, then that is find, but at least I tried to figure out what they were saying instead of jumping down their throat the first second I saw what they wrote.
Another lesson I found about myself is that if I get really angry with someone online, it might be because I have not eaten or slept enough or I need a drink of water as my eyes are drying out. LOL
In person chatting with TFPers is so much more respectful. But then online debate is all about free speech and I often find out what people really are thinking. In person, we often censor ourselves more. I find that a strong view online is not as strong in person.
