I felt the same way about
Death Proof, though I have read many comments (on other sites) where people felt the opposite.
Death Proof is deliberately slow paced and builds up to the action like a slow grind, as
Planet Terror is more
Night of the Living Dead. If I were to change anything, I would put
Death Proof first, as it is more dialogue driven and Tarantino takes his time with character development.
