Frogs (1972) - 8/10
Group of rich people stuck on an island in a mansion come under siege from just about every phylum, genus, species, family, class and order in the animal kingdom. Effective and well done. Pretty high gross factor. An eco-proletarian classic.
Night of the Demon (1957) - 9/10
Awesome horror flick...ridiculously scary, with not a drop of blood in the movie. It's a simple, solid ghost story, but with a ton of mojo sauce poured all over it. One of the scariest movies I've ever seen, one of my alltime favorite movies. This one's a lot of fun.
The Wasp Woman (1960) - 8/10
Solid 1960's Roger Corman "B" horror flick. Starts out innocuous and innocent. Turns intense and scary...the foreboding buzzing sounds are brutal. Some might find the makeup and special effects campy, I found them unnerving in the extreme. This flick haunted my childhood for years.
