Tips on Selling a Car for Parts?

Okay, so I have acquired a 1989 Chrysler New Yorker. It gave me enough peace of mind to get me through a rough week, but it threw a rod, and now has a lovely hole in the oil pan. I'd love to sell it for parts, and have put it on Craig's List, but have only had one response, and that was for $100. Am I just better off selling it to a salvage yard for $150? It's in pretty good body condition, just has the blown motor, so I was asking for $500... is that unreasonable? Here's a link to pictures. The viewer password is california. Thoughts?
