Just out of curiosity, what exactly
is "the importance of our continuing mission in Iraq"? Do you honestly think that fighting a losing war is making the US general public safer? I've never seen the logic of that, and I still don't. How does creating the next generation of extremist terrorists make us safer? "Fight them there so we don't fight them here" only works against an enemy with central command and control, not an independent-cell-based operation like Al Qaida. It's a great talking point, but that's about it.
