but that doesn't make sense. You don't need to have it reset, you just need the personal restraint necessary not to go blow your vacation the second you get it.
Oh, and only 1 week vacation after 3 years sucks. Plain and simple. Even in my industry, which is notorious for underpaying and screwing everyone but a select few anchors, the standard is 2 weeks vacation + holidays (usually floating) the first year you work. Vacation carryover is rare anywhere these days, and my industry is no exception. You can usually work your way up to 4 weeks of vacation.
