www.apartmentratings.com- this is where people who have lived in the complex will review it - you have to take many of them with a graiin of salt because thre are a lot of bitter people there - but it gives you a pretty good idea of what you get.
I'd also enquire about parking, laundry, and grocery shopping - stuff you want closeby.
