You can use WinKeyFinder, or WinKeyLite on the old install to retrieve the product key - http://www.winkeyfinder.com/index.ph...tartdown&id=12

** And it shows up if you run Belarc Advisor - It is near the middle to the right of the OS line (Microsoft Windows XP Professional or whatever)
