Well...
A.) I like having 4 seasons, and winter just happens to be one of them.
B.) I grew up with it. Snow, cold and ice are just a fact of life to be dealt with.
C.) I am one of those weirdos that prefers it cooler rather than warmer. I detest high heat and humidity.
D.) If absolutely nothing else, it helps one to appreciate the balmier weather a little more.
