Actually, n0nsensical, I agree with you for the most part. I used to listen to DI.fm all the time. Then, as more and more people had the bandwidth to listen to 128k streams, they took them away. There's a reason I don't listen to mp3s that are below 128k (hell, I almost never listen to mp3s that ARE 128k), and I'm certainly not interested in listening to electronica at 98k, especially when I used to get higher quality for free from the same source.
Don't get me wrong, I do think DI plays great stuff. It helped introduce me to electronic music too, and I listened to it pretty much nonstop during my freshman year of college. These days, I spend most of my internet radio time at
SomaFM and
HBR1. HBR1 doesn't have 128k mp3 streams, but they make up for it by having OGG streams which sound quite good considering.
