Gotcha, this is the sort of information I was looking for.
Knowing that, I will try to get the PC media to TV method to work. My TV DVD burner is nice, I just have to find out how to get the signal from my PC to my TV.
I tried going into the monitor preferences in Control Panel, but for whatever reason, the TV does not show up, and it seems that the software/options doesn't allow for it to be a selection.
I found a good site just now regarding this.. The first, regarding physical connection
HERE and the second regarding the software connection (this is where I am having trouble)
HERE.
My main concern is that I am not even seeing the screens and options available in these tutorials (I've seen the same screens in other walkthroughs). Specifically, I don't see a TV option, nor do I see a "Clone" tab. I gather this is the main obstacle between getting the PC set-up for showing media on TV.
Is anyone familiar with this, and have ideas at why I am encountering these problems?
