Most of all, you could get it cleaner than Firefox, and from my experiences, it loaded webpages faster than Firefox. So I install IE7 expecting an IE6 with better features. Wrong. The whole damn interface that I've been using for years is gone. Now it's a direct Firefox ripoff that lost a good bit of its functionality without having to go into menus. What's worse, you can't customize it or uninstall it or roll back to 6. The worst of the worst is how there's a 500 millisecond delay before it loads the default page when you open it, and it lags my system for almost a full second everytime I close it. Don't install this crap.

sorry to bring back up an old post, but incase if you havn't removed it yet or if anyone else wants to remove it, it's actually really easy to roll back to IE6, you just go to "add/remove programs" in control panel... and at the bottom of the list you'll find "Windows Internet Explorer 7!! if you downloaded a earlier version, you may have to click the "show update" box on the top to view it on the list, but it will remove, I've done it. IE6 will return to its previous state.
