I love BMG for their prices - I've done the 12 for 1 deal three or four times - but it gets harder to find 12 CDs that I actually want. Can't comment on those particular genres.
My sister used Columbia and it seemed like BMG was better, price-wise.
Usually I buy used CDs from the local independent music store and from half.com.
