If you look back around late Jan of 2003, he posted back to back shutouts in a row. One against Columbus (not hard to do) and one against Toronto (pretty hard to do IN Toronto). This is not "luck" of any sort.
Previous to those 2 games, he played only 1 game in the past 6 days... meaning - he had time to rest up. When he's rested, he plays like the Roy of old. Unfortunatly when it comes time for the playoffs, and he's expected to play 3 games in 4 nights, his body just can't handle it like it use to... or else we would've seen Colorado vs New Jersey right now.
