I've read a dozen or so reviews of 3 or 4 Wii launch games and a good portion of them are saying that the motion sensor in the controller just doesn't work as it should. They're saying that in some cases it's not sensitive enough (without an option to change it) and that some games (especially Call of Duty 3 and Dowhill Jam) would have been better with a standard controller. I even read that the controller doesn't work good enough to even play some aspects of the games (some bad enough that Call of Duty 3's grapple function only works 50% of the time). I like Nintendo's ambitious tendencies, but they better start making sure their motion sensor works 100% of the time with better than analog accuracy or it's just dead weight.
What is also interesting is many reports are stating that Wii's graphics are somewhere in between PS2 and XBox. That's right, some games don't even look like XBox graphics, much less XBox 360 or next-gen. Argue if you want, but that's freaking stupid. I watched some Wii videos and I definitely had a hard time believing the games were supposed to be next-gen. At least it has Zelda.
Not that much of it matters since most of the games on PS3 and Wii are getting lackluster reviews (besides Resistance: Fall of Man and Zelda).
