At the very least, Kerry should stop trying to tell jokes.

It was obvious to me that the Repub response was just another example of turning criticism of the Iraq war policymakers into a criticism of the men and women fighting the war.

But regardless of how you interpret the remarks, what it has done, with the subsequent back and forth comments, is raise a discussion of the Iraq war again as the top news story and it seems to me that this is the last thing Repubs would want discussed in this last week before the election.
